Overview

Sonka is a third-party interface for the seeks search engine.
This interface is fully jQuery powered, so it works only on javascript enabled browser.
Features :
  • Use all seeks functionalities like clustering, grouping, expansion, etc.
  • All the interface is loaded from webserver only once (low bandwidth utilization).
  • Results grouping by domain name similarity.
  • Page navigation without reloading results data from the seeks node.
  • Hotkeys support.
  • OpenSearch specification is followed.
  • jQuery.tmpl based interface (easily themeable), see templates documentation for more details.
  • Cookie based option panel.
  • Work as a standalone site (file://), web hosted (http://) or through the seeks proxy (http://s.s/).
  • i18n support (please see i18n documentation for writing your own language).
